April

April: Is it sunrise? 

Good morning? In the winter, they evoked walking through the valley of the shadow of death. High above the valley, there were glimmers of dawn. It’s always darkest before the dawn. There was a climb towards the light.

Now, in April, the sun is rising, at least here in the United States. In other parts of the world, April has brought death and darkness. 

Here, we watch the morning’s light rise, while remaining cognizant that there are storms even after the most beautiful of sunrises.
